Since the Ram 2500 4X4 sits pretty high, the MPG is considerably affected by any headwind and in my experience in the Kansas winds, it will reduce the MPG by 2 to 3 MPG on the highway. The ride unloaded is a bit stiffer than the Ram 1500 and as long as you keep your foot off the gas, we have been getting 16 to 17 MPG on the highway at 65 MPH (13 to 14 MPG in the city) with 2500 miles on the odometer.
